FIRST WORLD WEEK OF ITALIAN CUISINE

At La Usina del Arte, in the last weekend of November, a conversation will be held between the famous writer Elena Kostioukovitch, author of the book "Why Italians love to talk about food", and the gastronomic journalist Pietro Sorba.

A full immersion in Italian cuisine. In partnership with Buenos Aires City Government, Italian Embassy, and newspaper "L'Italiano".

1. In Córdoba, on Wednesday, the 23th of November, at 7.30 pm, in the building where courses of the Italian Institute of Culture in Córdoba are usually held, there will be a conference and presentation of the new edition of Elena Kostioukovitch's book "Why Italians Love to Talk about Food" in Spanish. The meeting will be in Italian and Spanish. Translation between the two languages will be provided.

2. In Buenos Aires, on Friday, the 25th of November, at 4 pm, at "La Usina del Arte", a conference by Elena Kostioukovitch, on Italian cultural history in terms of "food language", is scheduled. It will be translated into Spanish.

3. In Buenos Aires, on Monday, the 28th of November, at 4 pm, at Buenos Aires University, there will be a lecture by Elena Kostioukovitch on literary translation. Languages: Italian and Engish.

4. In Buenos Aires, on Tuesday, the 29th of November, at 6.30 pm, at the Italian Institute of Culture of Buenos Aires, there will be a conference by Elena Kostioukovitch on Umberto Eco, "Seven meals, seven novels. The language of food used by Umberto Eco in his narrative works." The meeting will be in Italian.
