World premier of the dramatic production by St.Petersburg Theater of Satire based on Ludmila Ulitskaya's DANIEL STEIN, TRANSLATOR took place in Poland
During the 13th International theater festival KONFRONTATIONS (October 8-12, 2008) in Lublin, Poland, the St.Petersburg Theater of Satire on Vasilyevsky Island presented its new 140-minute-long dramatic production based on Ludmila Ulitskaya's bestselling novel DANIEL STEIN, TRANSLATOR. This first stage version of Ulitskaya's title is directed by famous Polish director Andrzej Bubień.
Bubień's stage version of Ulitskaya's DANIEL STEIN was enthusiastically met by Polish audience. All critics mention that a performance was followed by a 20-minute applause.
